A writer of Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Weird Fiction; Zack Taylor has work published in Whetstone: Amateur Magazine of Pulp Sword and Sorcery (Issue 2 December 2020); and through Amazon as paperback and eBook.

Photographic works have been displayed at local exhibitions as part of the Hull Independent Photography Festival 2018 & 2019. Hand-produced traditional photographic prints have previously been on sale in collaboration with local shops.

Born and raised in the UK, Zack Taylor grew up reading a range of pulp fantasy and Sci-fi alongside longer works of epic literature; he has studied and undertaken modern art and photography throughout his life as a broad keen interest.

Key literary and visual inspirations from new to old include (in no particular order): Michael Moorcock, H.P. Lovecraft, Gene Wolfe, China Mieville, Hannu Rajaniemi, Jonathan L Howard, Man Ray, Francis Bacon, Salvador Dali, Andre Breton, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Roger Zelazny, William Klein, Elliott Erwitt, Saul Leiter, Jill Freedman, Hampton Fancher, Algernon Blackwood.
